Every year Smithsonian magazine hosts Museum Day. Museums and cultural institutions across the country participate to provide free entry to anyone with a Museum Day ticket. It's a great way to explore and learn while saving some money (maybe spend your savings on a souvenir from the gift shop!)
This year Museum Day is on Saturday, April 4, 2020. The FREE tickets provide free admission for two people to participating locations. There are participating 3 locations in Queens, including Flushing's Kingsland Homestead. There are countless more participating museums in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Nassau County, Westchester and other nearby locales.
