Description
The Chinese-American Parents’ Association (CAPA) is working with the Flushing Library to help children learn about Chinese culture and customs. Families will learn how to make their own lanterns to keep.
春節過后，元宵節緊接而來，華人家長會為讓海外的華人學子認識元宵節的由來及延續中華文化的傳統，今年將和法拉盛圖書館合作，並邀請公立120, 163, 244, 242, 24小學聯合擴大舉辦「親子動手做燈籠」活動，各校均設有專區輔導家長和學生，並有專人教導用新年紅包做成各种不同形狀的燈籠，作品完成後可帶回家，以慶祝元宵節。
